Job 40:15 reads, “Look now at behemoth, which I made.”

Before leaving this topic, let’s look at two more scientific facts that prove the Bible true and trustworthy.

1) The Bible talks about dinosaurs. “Look now at the behemoth, which I made…his strength is in his hips, and his power is in his stomach muscles. He moves his tail like a cedar…His bones are like beams of bronze, his ribs like bars of iron. He is the first of the ways of God; only He who made him can bring near His sword” (Job 40:15-19).

Pay particular attention to these two phrases:

a) “He is the first of the ways (creation) of God.”

b) “Only He who made him can bring near His sword (to destroy him).” That means God not only made the dinosaurs, He also made them extinct.

2) The Bible speaks about the earth’s rotation. For ages scientists believed in the geocentric view of the universe; that the differences between night and day were caused by the sun revolving around the earth. Today we know that the earth’s rotation on its axis is responsible for the sun rising and setting.

But four thousand years ago in the book of Job, God said to Job, “Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring (dawn) to know his place? The earth…is turned as clay” (Job 38:12-14). The image of a potter with clay on his wheel isn’t accidental; it’s an accurate analogy of the earth’s rotation.

And here’s the best part: The God who created all these things with such precision and order knows every detail of your life, and He’s looking out for you. So put your trust in Him today.
