Let there be a real harmony, so that there won’t be splits in the church. I plead with you to be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

1 Corinthians 1:10

What is expected of me as a member?

I commit myself to God and to other members of the Church regarding the following:

Membership Commitment

The membership commitment is a commitment to Christ and the church family.

I will protect the unity of my church by growing spiritually, by acting in love toward other members and by following the leadership (Romans 15:9, Romans 15:51, 1 Peter 1:22, Ephesians 4:29, Hebrews 13:17).

The Maturity Commitment

A commitment to the habits necessary for the spiritual growth.

I will support the responsibility of my church by praying for its growth, by inviting others to attend and by warmly welcoming those who visit (1 Thessalonians 1:2, Luke 14:23, Romans 15:7).

The Ministry Commitment

A commitment to build on discovering and using your God-given gifts and abilities in serving God and others.

I will serve the ministry of my church by using my gifts and talents, by being equipped to serve others and by having a servant’s heart (1 Peter 4:10, Ephesians 4:11-12, Philippians 2:3-7).

The Mission Commitment

A commitment to share the Good News with others.

I will support the testimony of my church by attending faithfully, by living a godly life and giving regularly (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:18-20).
